If you cannot attend an in person audition, please submit a video. In person auditions is always preferred.
All material submitted becomes the property of the Brighton Ballet Theater Co, Inc. The School is not responsible for lost or damaged materials.

Please note, all barre work should be filmed diagonally to the dancer at the barre, one side only. Centre work should be filmed from the centre front of the studio.

VIDEO AUDITION FEE: $25

2. Mail DVD with a personal check or send video link via email. Include two recent photos: 1st arabesque and tendu a la seconde. Photographs will not be returned.
Video submissions should be approximately 15-20 minutes in length.

The attire should be a black leotard and full-length pink tights for ladies and a white shirt and black tights for men.

At the beginning of the video, you should introduce yourself and state your age, the number of year(s) of ballet/dance study, the number of years of pointe work (if applicable), the name(s) of your current school and teacher(s), and any previous summer intensive programs, festivals and/or international ballet competitions in which you have participated. Video should demonstrate barre and center exercises, including adagio, tendus, pirouettes, grand pirouettes, petit, medium, and grand allegro, tours en l'air for men, fouettes and pointe work for ladies. You may also include a classical ballet variation if desired.
